Children of Promise is having a contest!  We are looking for great people who want to mentor and share in the joy of this ministry to children of prisoners.
 
Beginning today, April 14th and ending on Wednesday, May 14th at 5pm; you have the opportunity to win this weekend getaway by referring to Children of Promise staff contact information for prospective mentors.  The person with the most referrals, Wins!
 
A prospective mentor is someone whom you have shared with about your own experience of mentoring and about the ministry of Children of Promise.  These referrals should show a genuine interest in becoming a mentor with this program.  Please provide Children of Promise staff with phone and e-mail contact information.  The referral should know that a Children of Promise staff will be contacting them to follow-up about their interest in this program.

This was our second annual Growing Stronger Together event at the ETSU Center for Physical Activity.  It was an awesome time of fellowship for mentors and mentees alike.  Many people enjoyed the challenge of the climbing wall including Marco who you can see above is working so hard to make it to the top.  Others spent time enjoying the their first swim of the season in the indoor pool.  If you would like to see more pictures from the event click on Marco.

join us on Tuesday, April 15th from 6:30 to 7:30 at the Refuge for Mentor Survivor 101.  This will be a time of fellowship, discussion and encouragement for mentors only!  We will be talking about our need for a vision in our Mentoring Relationships.  A heavy snack will be provided.  Please RSVP by Monday, April 14th, so we can plan for food.
