KRISTY TATUM!!!

Kristy is the grand-prize winner of our Mentor referral contest for the weekend getaway for two to Gatlinburg!  Congrats and many thanks to Kristy and others who have shared their story o mentoring and encouraged others to join this ministry!  We look forward to seeing what God develops through our new mentors!

We would like to invite all our mentors to bring their mentees to our last Fun Expedition day for this school year.  It will be May 22nd starting at 6:00pm.  We will have cake to celebrate the end of school.  And as always you will get all the pizza you can eat and plenty of fun games to enjoy with your mentee.  The cost involved is $10 which covers you and your mentee for an hour of arcade time and two attractions (go carts, laser tag, putt-putt, bumper cars, bowling.)  The cost to eat at the pizza buffet for both you and your mentee is $5.   We hope to see you there!

join us on Tuesday, May 13th from 6:30 to 7:30 at the Refuge for Mentor Survivor 101.  This will be a time of fellowship, discussion and encouragement for mentors only!  We will be talking about fun outside the box activities for you and your mentee.  A heavy snack will be provided.  Please RSVP by Monday, April 14th, so we can plan for food.

Hello Mentors!
 
We would like to invite you and your mentee to an outing we are having at Doe River Gorge on Tuesday, May 6th from 5:30 to 7:30pm.  You and your mentee can participate in high adventure elements as well as team building activities.  It will be a time of fun, adventure and fellowship.  We will be providing a picnic dinner, so we need you to RSVP no later that Monday, May 5th so that we can plan for food and let Doe River know how many people to expect.  This is a bit of last minute event, but we couldn’t pass up the opportunity.  Doe River is a beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors.  We understand that many of you don’t get off work until 5:00, so we understand if you can’t be there at 5:30.  Come join us when you are able.
 
Again, please email to let us know if you and your mentee will be coming by Monday, May 5th.
 
Also, your mentee must have a waiver signed by their legal guardian in order to participate in the adventure elements.  You will also need to sign one.  If you need a form please contact us and we can get you one.  We also have forms available here at the office if you would like to come by and pick up one.

Hello Mentors!  We are glad to see you taking advantage of our News Bulletin for information about Children of Promise.  We have quite alot of excitement for the month of May and we don’t want you to miss out on anything. 

1. May 6th we will be having an event at Doe River Gorge from 5:30 to 7:30pm.  Check out our News Bulletin specifically about this event.  Coming soon.
2. May 12th we will be opening the doors of the Refuge for use by our mentors and mentees from 6-8pm.  Come and take advantage of our many fun games (for FREE!).
3. May 13th at 6:30pm we will be having our Mentor Survivor.  This is an awesome time for mentors to come together for a time of fellowship, food, and learning.  Remember NO Mentees allowed.
4. May 22nd will be our last Fun Expedition Day until the beginning of the next school year.  We have plans to do something extra special for this event so stay tuned to hear more.
5. May 14th at 5:00pm is the deadline for referrals for our Gatlinburg Getaway Contest.  It’s not too late to win!
