A reminder that we kick off Fun Expedition– Expedition to Learning this Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00pm.  You must do 30 minutes of learning (reading, homework, etc.) with your mentee before playing.  We will have a couple of party rooms to do work in and then you may play and/or eat.

Cost is $10.00 for a 1 hour play and 2 attractions for both you and your mentee.

Dinner is $5.00 for you and Boys to Men will pick up your mentees dinner since this is our kick-off for this school year.

Yes that’s right.  Expect More and Pay Less in your mentoring relationships.  On Tuesday September 16th here at the Refuge from 6:30-7:30 we will be having our Monthly Mentor Survivor.  We will be talking about Expecting more out of your relationships while Spending less money on your mentee.  This is a great time for fellowship with other mentors and improving your relationship.  There will be a light snack provided.  Hope to see you there.  Please RSVP in the comment box below.

• Mentor Survivor will be held on Sept. 16 starting at 6:30 and lasting an hour.  We will have a snack provided and this will be a great chance to meet and fellowship with other mentors.
• Fun Expedition is starting back up for the year.  On the 25th mentors our welcome to bring their mentees to Fun Expedition on Roan st. and enjoy all the different games.  For those who haven’t been yet 30 min. of homework time is required before play.  The cost is $15 for two buffets and two tickets.
• Dragon Boat Race!  Come and support the first ever Boys to Men Dragon Boat Team!  The races will be held on Sept 13th at Winged Deer Park by ampitheater from 9-3:30.  There will be many fun things to do including watching the Boys to Men team kick butt!
• Rhythm and Roots Festival in Bristol, Tn.  Take your mentee to go hear so great music at the Bristol Rhythm and Roots Festival.  It will be going on between the 19th and the 21st.
• Community Night!  This is our first annual community night for Boys to Men and it will be held on Sept. 30th at the Refuge from 3-7:30.  There will be food, games, activities, and a band.  Everyone is invited: mentors, their families, mentees, and their families.  This will be a great time to hang out enjoy good company and see what God is doing through Boys to Men.
