Becoming a Mentor
If you are interested in becoming a mentor please fill out the mentor information and application and email, mail or fax them to Boys to Men or Children of Promise. If you have any questions about mentoring please feel free to give us a call or email we would love to hear from you.

Time Commitment
· Make a one-year commitment…..studies have proven that it is better for a child to never be matched with a mentor than to be matched and have the mentor not fulfill their commitment.
· Meet with mentee one-on-one a minimum of four times per month
Application and Screening Process

· Criminal Background Check
· Reference Check, including a pastoral /church staff reference
· Mentor Training/Orientation
A Mentor for your Child
- If you are interested in having a mentor for your child and they have a incarcerated parent please fill out a Parent Referral form and send it to the Boys to Men offices. If your child does not have an incarcerated parent then please visit our Boys to Men website at www.boystomen.us or give us a call at 423-610-1242 to learn about some of our other mentoring programs as well as our after school programs.
